Awareness is Bliss

Thank you for visiting the Secular Energeticist’s official website.

Have you seen this bumper sticker out there while driving around?

Get one.

Awareness is Bliss.

New Clear Bliss

You’ve probably heard the opposite stated for your entire life.

Ignorance is Bliss. Right?

What is the opposite of ignoring something that is right in front of you?

That’s right. The opposite of ignoring something, is being aware of it.

All of this begs the question, ignorance is bliss for whom?

Certainly not those being ignored.

It’s time we work together to change this.

When is the last time you heard someone say, “well hey, I guess awareness is bliss, right?” Yeah. Most have never heard these words, simple as they are.

Here’s an example: A very small town of people burn a “witch”. No one outside of the town ever finds out, while all the towns’ people “believe” they did the right thing, and thus live happily ever after without the scourge of the wicked witch. I suppose, ignorance would be a kind of bliss for these people. These days, having that kind of privacy is rare, and yet such atrocities continue world wide. Yes, even in developed contries like the United States.

In the above case, the idea that the “witch” might not be a witch, was ignored by the majority of the people; especially those with authority. That seems to be a simple idea to have awareness of. Wouldn’t you think?

People say it all the time. “Ignorance is bliss”. But I ask you, ignorance is bliss for who? I assure you, it is not bliss for those who are ignored, or those who suffer consequences as a result of ignorant acts and deeds. Ignorance is usually bliss for those who are doing the ignoring.

So, what is the opposite of ignorance? Let’s look at a definition for the answer from Merriam Webster online:

Definition of IGNORANCE

: the state or fact of being ignorant: lack of knowledge, education, or awareness

How about a second opinion?

Ignorance is a state of being uninformed (lack of knowledge).[1] The word ignorant is an adjective describing a person in the state of being unaware and is often used as an insult to describe individuals who deliberately ignore or disregard important information or facts. Ignoramus is commonly used in the US, the UK, and Ireland as a term for someone who is willfully ignorant

Well look at that. The opposite of ignoring something is being aware of it. So we have a spectrum from complete ignorance to complete awareness. Think about it. If you were completely ignorant to everything, you’d probably perish relatively quickly. If you were completely aware of everything in the Universe, you’d likely explode. Just kidding, but you can imagine how difficult it would be to focus on anything while being aware of everything. You see? There’s a spectrum. The familiar part of that spectrum to many is the ignorant side. All the while, we have no choice but to be aware of so much, each of us. So what’s really going on?

Well, we can’t be aware of everything. And we probably wouldn’t want to ignore everything. By now you should be wondering, “Why is this relevant?” Good question.

The messages that we are working ever so hard to convey, come to fruition within statements like this, awareness is bliss. You see, it turns out that the primary message and gift of Matthew 10:10 and Secular Energeticism is that we are the Universe AWARE of itself. With this realization comes the idea that awareness is bliss. This, as you read above, is quite different from the norm. Can you feel the difference?

As an awareness, you just can’t be aware of everything all at once, so, you must choose to ignore some things, and be aware of others. Here you may realize that ignorance is a discipline and not something to be used without reserve. Just to reiterate:

Awareness is Bliss. Ignorance is a discipline.

Tell your friends!

So, after many years of study, research and work, the slogan that stands out from the lists to deliver a message of empowerment, as well as contradiction, is plastered on the bumpers of cars nationwide, and circulates through the washers and dryers of the world. You’ll see the other items in our virtual stores.

“Awareness is Bliss” is one of the first and primary slogans for Secular Energeticism

This entire endeavor is designed to address issues that we’ve been ignorant to for many years beyond any of us. How do we address these issues? By being aware of them, and not ignoring them. En masse, this can be done by realizing our position as the Universe aware of itself, as we have always been. That is what we mean to deliver within the pages of Matthew 10:10 Travels of an Awareness, and perpetuate as Secular Energeticists.

If you’ve had about enough of the Universe (people) ignoring itself, then perhaps it’s time we realize that we are the Universe aware of itself, and be that, together.

In this, Awareness is Bliss.
